Castle Rising
A famous 12th century stone keep built castle in 1140 AD, this is an amazing historic site with the original earthworks and stone masonry intact. Close to Kings Lynn, it’s a good place to stop-off on a cloudy or wet day.

Holkham Hall
A stunning Palladian house and beautiful English Deer Park. The Seat of The Earls of Leicester and the Coke family. ‘The Duchess’ was filmed here and the picturesque beach was used for ‘Shakespeare in Love’.

Oxburgh Hall
One of the National Trust most picturesque properties is giving up its secrets as a major 6 million restoration project uncovers a wealth of surprises. The hall made international head lines recently when the archeologist working in the hall attic rooms uncovered a genuine treasure trove. An old cigarette packet and an empty chocolate box from the 1940s were rather mundane as also were found illuminated manuscripts fragments of a 16th century books and the remains of a high quality Elizabethan textiles a remarkable discovery to add to the already vivid story of Oxburgh Hall.
